Description

The world’s most powerful floor grinding and polishing machines

The Expander range of floor grinders has many characteristics which allow the operator to achieve the ultimate FLAT FLOOR. With a fixed planetary gear-driven head that works to grind all flooring surfaces flat, to the machine design which focuses all of the weight and grinding pressure over the top of the working section of the machine. In particular, the Expander 1000 features one metre (1000mm) wide working area with six planetary heads, which along with its 1.35-tonne weight delivers the ultimate flat floor.
Many machines available on the market are designed with a floating grinding head, this allows the machine to follow the contours of the floor and can at times leave a ‘wavy’ appearance to the floor. The combination of the floating head and lighter machine weight reduces the grinding ability of the machine to produce perfectly flat floors.

FEATURES
  • Easy to handle and transport with remote control function
  • Working width ranging from 530mm to 1000mm with 3 x 200mm-240mm tools
  • Insertable third wheel make the machines easier to transport and loading onto ramps
  • Strong gearbox with thermo-hardened steel gears for a longer life
  • Auto levelling planetary system
  • Adjustable planetary to allow for the adjustment of grinding pressure
  • Minimized noise during working operation
  • Achieve the ultimate flat floor with a rigid head planetary system
  • Adjustable working pressure feature allows the operator to manually adjust the working pressure of the planetary head. This improves the grinding production rate and also assures a flatter result to the floor as the grinding heads and working area is/are adjusted to be as level as possible.
  • The spring attachments force the weight of the chassis onto the working area allowing the machine to have some slight movement during the grinding work, but always focusing the downward grinding pressure.
