Description

Travertine Repair Kit is used to repair cracks and holes up to 1/4″ (6mm) deep and 1″ (25mm) wide. It is designed to repair isolated, damaged areas. By mixing the light and dark fillers, a broad range of colors can be blended to match most colors of travertine.

Limitations to the Product

Filler provides a textured, non-polished finish. Not for repairing hairline cracks. Not for re-bonding a broken tile. Not for filling entire tile surface.

Instructions

General Surface Prep
Clean surface of contaminants using water and a microfiber or lint-free towel. Be sure all loose material and dust is removed from the stone.

Application of Product
USE CHEMICAL-RESISTANT GLOVES, such as nitrile, when handling product. In the provided plastic bag, mix together the light filler and dark filler until desired color is achieved. If the color desired matches either the light or the dark, there is no need to mix. Apply the product to the surface using a putty knife, ensuring to pack the repair area with filler. Using the putty knife, scrape the excess material around the repair off the surface. With a damp sponge, in a circular motion gently remove the film off the surface. Do not press firmly or filler will be removed from the repair. Allow the product to fully cure for 24 hours before allowing traffic.

Cleaning of equipment

Clean with soap and water before material dries. Cured material is difficult to clean from surfaces.
