Actichem Instastrip is a total floor stripper and coating remover engineered for heavy-duty professional use. Designed to work in conjunction with powered scrubbing machinery, Instastrip quickly and effectively removes polish build-up, wax, sealers and UHS burnished finishes from a wide variety of floor surfaces — including vinyl and linoleum where many strippers cannot be used.

Exceptionally effective even at high dilution, Instastrip is the economical choice for routine coatings removal without harsh ammonia fumes or high VOC solvents.

APPLICATION AREAS AND SURFACE SUITABILITY

Instastrip is safe for use on vinyl and most resilient floors, quickly softening and emulsifying old, worn and discoloured finishes for easy removal.

⚠️ Do not use on sealed timber floors — Instastrip may affect the timber seal, requiring sanding to rectify the floor.

HOW TO USE

Read and understand the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use. Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for substrate sensitivity prior to full application.

DILUTIONS

• Dilute 1:10 for removing light build-ups
• Dilute 1:4 for heavy build-up and UHS burnished coatings

APPLICATION

1. Sweep the area thoroughly to remove any soiling that could damage the floor if caught under scrubbing equipment.
2. Apply Instastrip solution liberally to the floor area with a cotton mop, ensuring the surface is thoroughly wet. Always work in small, controllable area sizes.
3. Allow at least 5 minutes dwell time, then agitate with a low-speed rotary scrubber or autoscrubber fitted with a black, brown or high productivity pad.
4. Ensure the area does not dry out on the surface during the process.
5. After scrubbing, pick up slurry and rinse thoroughly with clean water to ensure all stripper and sealer residues are completely removed.
6. Allow the floor to dry before commencing the restoration process. Re-strip any areas that still have polish build-up or were missed in the first application.
