TED™ is a highly concentrated acidic cleaner formulated with 50–60% Urea Hydrochloride, delivering powerful cleaning performance with much lower fuming than traditional hydrochloric acid. Effectively removing mineral residues including efflorescence, grout haze, rust marks, soap scum, limescale, mortar mess and fireplace soot, TED™ is a versatile professional-grade acidic cleaner trusted across a wide range of cleaning applications.

Unlike harsher acidic cleaners, temporary contact does not immediately burn skin — giving you valuable time to rinse off (though immediate rinsing after skin contact is always recommended). TED™ also causes almost no corrosion of metals, with the exception of aluminium.

APPLICATION AREAS AND SURFACE SUITABILITY

TED™ is designed for professional use removing mineral residues, efflorescence and limescale from a wide range of hard surfaces.

Caution: TED™ is highly acidic and will etch acid-sensitive materials such as marble, limestone, travertine and onyx. Concrete should be pre-wet before application and neutralised immediately afterwards to minimise damage.

HOW TO USE

Read the Product Data Sheet (PDS) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection. Test on a small area to check acid sensitivity before full application. Remove all loose dust and dirt from the surface before applying. Apply when surface temperature is 5–35°C (40–95°F). Pre-wet very porous surfaces with water to prevent the cleaner penetrating too deeply.

DILUTIONS

• Efflorescence, rust marks — 1 part TED™ to 10 parts water
• Grout haze, limescale, soap scum — 1 part TED™ to 20 parts water

APPLICATION

1. Pour, brush or spray the mixed solution generously onto the surface and leave for 3 minutes.
2. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface — clean large areas in sections.
3. Rub with a white nylon scrub pad or similar to clean the surface.
4. Neutralise the acid before rinsing using Oxitec-M™ or 1 cup of bicarbonate of soda dissolved in a bucket of water. Pour or spray over the entire surface and leave for a minimum of 3 minutes.
5. Rinse the surface thoroughly several times with clean water.

Shelf Life and Storage: Best used within 2 years of the manufacture date. Store away from direct sunlight in a well-ventilated place at 2–30°C (36–85°F) with the container tightly sealed.
