Lithofin OIL-EX is a ready-to-use, gel-like paste formulated with a powerful mixture of solvents and highly absorbent solids, specifically designed to dissolve and absorb oil and oil-based dirt from natural stone, artificial stone and concrete surfaces.

Its unique paste-like consistency allows the active ingredients to work into the substrate over an extended period, successfully drawing out even deeply ingrained oil stains and grease-based dirt that surface cleaners can’t reach.

APPLICATION AREAS AND SURFACE SUITABILITY

Ideal for removing oil stains and grease-based dirt from marble, natural and artificial stone and concrete. Particularly effective for kitchen worktops, garage entrances and similar areas exposed to oil contamination.

⚠️ Do not use on surfaces sensitive to solvents, lacquered, coated or synthetic surfaces. Do not apply below 10°C or above 25°C.

HOW TO USE

Always test on a small area in an inconspicuous location before full application. Some dark natural stone may show small amounts of powder residue in the porous surface — if this occurs, clean with Lithofin MN Power-Clean.

Coverage: Approximately 0.5m² per kg at 2mm application thickness.

APPLICATION

1. Remove solids and surface soiling mechanically using a scraper or brush.
2. Apply Lithofin OIL-EX to the dry surface using a spatula, achieving a coating thickness of at least 2mm.
3. Allow to dry for approximately 12 hours.
4. Brush off the remaining powder once completely dry.
5. Deeply ingrained dirt may require 2 to 3 applications for complete removal.

Advice: We recommend impregnating stain-sensitive stone and concrete areas with Lithofin MN Stain-Stop. For regular maintenance, use Lithofin MN Wash & Clean or Lithofin Easy-Care.

Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions with the tube kept closed. Shelf life of up to 2 years.

Environmental Protection: Contains solvents but no chlorinated hydrocarbons. Do not dispose of in drains. Dried powder can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way at a special waste collection point. Clean containers can be recycled through standard collection systems.

Safety: Extremely flammable liquid and vapour. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains limonene, which may produce an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children, and away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. No smoking. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
